The Asia Corporate Excellence and Sustainability (ACES) Council has honored Filipina cybersecurity specialist Mel Migriño, the country head and general manager of Gogolook Philippines, for her remarkable leadership in promoting digital safety, raising cybersecurity awareness, and fostering trust technology throughout Asia.

Ms. Migriño was recognized for integrating cybersecurity, regulatory partnerships, and societal trust into a cohesive mission for digital safeguarding.

Under her guidance, Gogolook’s local branch — the creator of the Whoscall anti-scam application — has broadened its scope and fortified collaborations that assist Filipinos in recognizing and obstructing scam communications.

“Her achievements in expanding Gogolook’s domestic presence, leading anti-scam initiatives, and enhancing cyber literacy position her among Asia’s most motivating leaders,” stated the ACES Council in an announcement. “Her leadership continues to shape policy, elevate public consciousness, and inspire corporate innovation with measurable societal advantages.”

In reaction to the acknowledgment, Ms. Migriño expressed her gratitude towards the ACES Council, stating that the award serves as a reminder of the vast talent and enthusiasm in Asia for creating a more secure digital environment.

“I am genuinely thankful to the ACES Council for this recognition. It’s more than just an accolade — it signifies a celebration of the extraordinary talent we possess throughout Asia. This acknowledgement motivates me to continue advocating for a future where technology fosters trust, empowers individuals, and safeguards communities.”

In addition to her corporate responsibilities, Ms. Migriño has earned recognition for her advocacy of inclusivity and education within the cybersecurity realm. She heads the Women in Security Alliance Philippines (WiSAP), which cultivates talent pipelines and implements national programs that equip communities with real-time protective tools and digital safety knowledge.

Her endeavors encompass classrooms, hackathons, and nationwide campaigns — showcasing a combination of vision, implementation, and compassion that continues to inspire both the private and public domains.

The Asia Corporate Excellence & Sustainability (ACES) Awards, inaugurated in 2014, is considered one of the region’s most esteemed platforms commending leadership and sustainability.

It honors individuals and organizations that exemplify innovative governance, responsible development, and impactful business practices contributing to the global sustainability framework.

Through independent evaluations and research-based assessments, the ACES Awards deliver external validation of excellence — enhancing the stature of winners and linking Asia’s most influential leaders and brands with global prospects.
