JuanHand, the premier fintech lending platform in the Philippines, has been granted the Green Flag status by the Filipino Fair Loans Advocacy Group (FILFLAG), one of the largest borrower associations in the nation.

The Green Flag accolade is awarded exclusively to online lending platforms (OLPs) that fulfill FILFLAG’s rigorous criteria for transparency, equity, and responsible lending. JuanHand was acknowledged for its competitive interest rates, straightforward and clear repayment conditions, ethical collection methods, and full adherence to regulatory standards.

“We are privileged and thankful to receive this acknowledgment from FILFLAG,” stated Francisco Roberto “Coco” D.C. Mauricio, president and chief executive officer of WeFund Lending Corp. (JuanHand). “This recognition reinforces our advocacy and practice since the beginning: delivering financial services in a respectful, compliant, and courteous manner, enabled by advanced AI. We sincerely appreciate this recognition from FILFLAG, which serves as a validation that Filipinos can choose a reliable, credible, and established online lending brand for their essential financial requirements. We will endeavor to work collaboratively with consumer advocacy groups like FILFLAG to foster responsible lending and ensure that borrowers are not susceptible to various predatory and unlawful lenders present in the market,” he remarked.

The financial services platform is commemorating its 6th anniversary and is steadily expanding by providing accessible credit solutions to underserved yet creditworthy Filipinos. By 2025, JuanHand has issued more than P55 billion in nano-loans to over 2.5 million borrowers, solidifying its role as a key player in promoting financial inclusion in the country.

With its Green Flag distinction, JuanHand is part of an exclusive group of fintech companies at the forefront of ethical digital lending. This recognition also highlights the platform’s commitment to enhancing industry standards in collaboration with regulators, consumer advocacy organizations, and relevant stakeholders.

The Filipino Fair Loans Advocacy Group (FILFLAG) is a consumer advocacy organization founded in 2023, dedicated to promoting fair lending practices, protecting borrower rights, and supporting those who have fallen victim to predatory lending. It also seeks to advocate responsible borrowing and foster a balanced and equitable lending atmosphere for all parties involved. You can find the complete list of Green Flag OLAs on FILFLAG’s social media channels and the group’s official website (filflag.org).
