Already energized by today’s prominent artists — BINI, Flow G, G22, KAIA, SB19, Skusta Clee, and SunKissed Lola — OPM Con 2025 stealthily introduced several other OPM heavyweights to thousands of oblivious fans in the expansive arena.
Still riding high from the immense success of OPM Con 2025, Ivy Hayagan-Piedad, senior marketing manager of Puregold, enthusiastically remarked, “Puregold’s universal language across its 500 locations nationwide encompasses not only groceries but music as well. Thus, we gathered our dedicated shoppers and provided them with a world-class concert experience featuring our own brand ambassadors.”
Ms. Piedad further articulated another vital purpose behind the concept: “The evening was centered around honoring our identity as Filipinos — our narratives, our melodies, and our collective pride. Witnessing fans unite is one panalo moment we take great pride in.”
The first surprise appeared during BINI’s performance, when James Reid emerged to join the girls for a seamless medley of “Secrets” and his own R&B hit “Di Bale.” The audience erupted in cheers, and just like that, the atmosphere was set: anything was possible.

Then came the full-circle moment: Mayonnaise, the legendary rock band of the 2000s, astonished fans by joining KAIA for a live rendition of “Jopay.” This collaboration was particularly significant for KAIA’s Angela, who had previously gone viral for her TikTok cover of the song in 2022. Now, she was performing it with the original band — in front of a raucous arena crowd.

Subsequently, the iconic singer-songwriter Yeng Constantino took the stage to perform her hit song “Salamat” alongside the charismatic P-Pop trio, G22. Yeng even shared a behind-the-scenes video of her and G22 blending their voices together while singing the song. The clip had netizens like @rayaaau_ on Twitter pleading, “We need a studio version please.” Fellow user @bro_bonk also acknowledged how impressive the G22 collaboration was, commenting that “ibang klase ang kanilang performance with Yeng Constantino, napapakanta ang audience.”
As SB19 performed “Liwanag sa Dilim,” the audience erupted once again as OPM icon Rico Blanco made his entrance on stage. Then came the unforeseen twist: Blanco danced to “Dungka” alongside SB19, G22, and KAIA, with BINI’s Sheena joining in. The three of the country’s leading girl groups collaborated to celebrate this momentous occasion. It was more than just a performance — it was a monumental declaration.
