Globe’s Chief Human Resource Officer Renato Jiao has been acknowledged as one of the top 100 impactful HR leaders in the region for 2025 by ETHRWorld Southeast Asia HR Icons.

This yearly project was orchestrated by ETHRWorld Southeast Asia, the human resources division of The Economic Times. It recognizes CHROs and senior HR officials who have made outstanding contributions to leadership, innovation, and transformation within the HR field.

In contrast to a conventional ranking system, the HR Icons list honors aspirational HR leaders from various countries in the region, including Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines.

Honorees are chosen through a comprehensive evaluation by ETHRWorld’s editorial team, assessing factors such as social media impact, engagement, industry accolades, community influence, thought leadership, and groundbreaking HR methodologies. It also takes into account the effects of HR initiatives on revenue growth and overall market presence.

“This esteemed recognition reflects the combined efforts of our entire HR team. We are dedicated to fostering a workplace that empowers employees, welcomes innovation, and promotes significant change while persistently seeking new methods to support our people, ensuring they remain at the heart of our achievements,” stated Jiao.

Jiao has directed Globe’s HR strategies since 2010, cultivating a culture of excellence, and establishing progressive policies that boost employee engagement and effectiveness.

With his guidance, Globe has intensified its initiatives regarding employee well-being and development while actively advocating for diversity and inclusion. The company’s emphasis on learning, growth, and innovation has also fostered a work environment where individuals feel appreciated, respected, and empowered.

Simultaneously, Jiao confirms that employees are involved in programs that contribute to both customer welfare and community advancement in alignment with Globe’s commitment to sustainability and nation-building.

Under Jiao’s stewardship, Globe has earned numerous local and international awards for excellence in human resources management.

Globe continues to progress and adjust to the evolving demands of its employees and customers, upholding its commitment to a work setting that promotes growth, innovation, and social responsibility.
