In case you are not aware — Spadina is a swift dress-rehearsal eth2 testnet set to launch on September 29th with a lifespan of 3 days. If you wish to test your deposit and genesis skills one final time before the mainnet goes live, then Spadina is the ideal choice for you — submit your deposits today! Visit the quick update from last week for more insights on what Spadina is and why itβs essential.
If this is your initial eth2 testnet experience, make sure to join the EthStaker Discord for tips and discussions. From there, you can select a client and navigate to the specific discord channels for that client.
Deposit CLI audit finalized
The eth2 community is actively undergoing numerous audits on aspects ranging from specifications to cryptographic libraries, clients, and command-line utilities.
We are thrilled to share that Trail of Bits has just concluded the audit for the eth2.0-deposit-cli — a tool we anticipate will be heavily utilized by hobbyist stakers alongside the Launchpad. The cli development team is currently addressing the 10 findings and recommendations concerning code quality identified in the report. You can track their progress here.
Alongside this audit, various ongoing audits of the eth2 client software are taking place. Stay informed by monitoring this issue to follow the most recent updates.
