- varied hardware and software constraints associated with risk
- varied entropy generation (for instance, capturing measurements from an explosion) safeguards the Ceremony output from being jeopardized by any issues within the standard entropy generation (such as the hosted interface)
- contributions involving large collectives are more challenging to falsify than those from a singular contributor. This permitted participants to contribute in ways that might not have been possible in the Open Contribution timeframe. 12 – KZGamer – summoning Dankshard with a dice-tower
Justin Florentine constructed a dice tower that could gather entropy for the ceremony while also assisting in determining the results of his table-top games. The dice tower functioned as a sealed enclosure that would roll the dice before collecting them in a secure chamber where they were captured by a Raspberry Pi (along with a camera). Following this, computer vision technology was employed to interpret the dice rolls which were then utilized to ascertain success/failure/damage of a given roll while integrating the dice values into an internal entropy accumulator. A trapdoor would then open to return the dice to the player. By the conclusion of the game, 1024 bits of entropy had been amassed and the SD card utilized in the Pi was incinerated until rendered unusable.

13 – Catropy
Proof of Cat or Catropy is an initiative aimed at gathering entropy utilizing cats engaging with a ball. This was achieved by incorporating a customized PCB with an ESP-32 microcontroller and an MPU-6500 6-axis IMU into a crocheted ball and presenting it to a cat (or a human). The ESP-32 subsequently collects readings from the accelerometers and gyroscopes, hashes it into an entropy reservoir, and transmits that entropy via WiFi to the server conducting the PoT computations.
