Exciting news from Timezone Philippines! They’re gearing up for a big makeover and planning to open new spots across the country by the end of this year and in 2026, as shared by their top official on Friday.

“Before we wrap up the year, we have two awesome new venues launching: one in the Venice Grand Canal Mall (Taguig City) that will be packed with fun attractions, and another at Ayala Capital Central in Bacolod City,” said Raffy Prats Jr., the president and general manager of Timezone Philippines, during the grand relaunch of their flagship location in Glorietta 4, Makati City.

“Next year is looking bright, with six more venues planned, all featuring exciting multi-attraction formats.”

Out of the eight new venues on the way, five will be brand new locations, according to Mr. Prats.

He highlighted that Timezone’s multi-attraction setup will allow both newcomers and established spots to offer more group-friendly activities. The revamped area in Glorietta 4, which opened in 1998 as their first branch in Metro Manila, now embraces this fresh format.

The spacious venue, which has grown from 900 square meters to nearly 1,400 square meters, boasts over 120 games and attractions, including social bowling, billiards, and spacious karaoke rooms that fit up to 12 people.

Guests can dive into thrilling virtual reality adventures with options like VR Hologate and VR Star Ride.

According to Mr. Prats, this renovation comes on the heels of the COVID-19 pandemic and aligns with the ongoing updates to the mall itself.

“We wanted to offer something special for our guests and create an unbeatable experience,” he shared.

This strategic change aims to draw in a wider crowd.

Meanwhile, Caroline Leong, the group chief customer officer of Timezone Group, shared that the Philippines is one of their fastest-growing and most vibrant markets. Originally from Australia, Timezone now operates in at least seven countries, mainly shining in the Asia-Pacific region, according to their website.

“Here in the Philippines, I’ve noticed that families love to play together! They enjoy coming out with multi-generational family groups,” Ms. Leong mentioned during the launch.

Since its debut in 1998 in Cebu, Timezone Philippines has grown to 51 large venues and over 50 smaller spots nationwide.

Looking ahead to 2026, the company is aiming for impressive double-digit revenue growth after the adjustments and consolidation made this year, shared Mr. Prats.
