On July 30th at 3:26:13 PM +UTC, Ethereum will commemorate a decade since the genesis block.
Ethereum has made significant progress. It was born, endured, and flourished against all challenges, leading to advancements in tokenization, fundraising, decentralized finance (DeFi), and digital ownership. It has catalyzed entire sectors and is currently altering our perceptions of money, identity, and collaboration. What started as a whitepaper and an ambitious experiment is evolving into the worldwide settlement layer for society. A decade later, Ethereum is merely at the beginning of its journey.
In collaboration with the community, the Ethereum Foundation will facilitate a series of global gatherings, onchain artifacts, and a livestream to herald the next ten years of Ethereum together.
If you have your own ideas or concepts on how to commemorate Ethereum’s 10th anniversary, we would be excited to learn about them and assist in highlighting community-led initiatives from across the globe. Get in touch at 10years@ethereum.org
Organize a 10 Years of Ethereum Meetup
