TL;DR:
We are pleased to announce that the applications are now available for the sixth group of the Ethereum Protocol Fellowship (EPF6).
The EPF offers a route for eager protocol developers to make substantial contributions to Ethereum. In every cohort, a varied assembly works towards advancing Ethereum’s roadmap throughout the fellowship. This encompasses the creation of client implementations, testing and specifications, along with engaging in the latest core protocol research.
With a primary aim to find eventual placement for fellows in R&D teams involved in core protocol development, EPF grants fellows a distinctive chance to collaborate with other skilled individuals, connect with existing Ethereum core developers and fellowship colleagues, and to create a notable influence on the Ethereum ecosystem.
EPF6 Adjustments
After evaluating each cohort, we implement minor modifications to the program to more effectively meet the demands of R&D teams as well as the participants. For cohort 6, we are welcoming more experienced software engineers to engage in specific projects suggested by client teams.
Moreover, we encourage participants who may not be fully ready for EPF to join the Protocol Study Group as well as to refine their software engineering abilities. Our objective is to guarantee that fellows prepared to make impactful contributions to the roadmap have maximum access to mentors, and to enhance the training experience for aspiring protocol contributors.
