The Zend version 5.0.5 update is now operational. All nodes on the Mainnet are required to have completed the update by December 12, 2024, since Zend version 5.0.4 has been retired at block #1679880. Zend version 5.0.5 will continue to operate until its retirement at block #1730680, anticipated on March 11, 2025. This update brought several bug fixes and minor modifications, ensuring the network remains safe and dependable.
Cortex (CTXC) 1.10.61
Cortex has launched version 1.10.61, which includes numerous stability enhancements and performance upgrades:
- Improved database snapshots for enhanced state management.
- Bug resolutions addressing unstable tests and state degradation concerns.
- Streamlined chain events and header management for effective synchronization.
- Introduction of new features such as the DeleteRange functionality and support for prestateTracer configuration alternatives.
Ergo (ERG) 5.0.24
The Ergo update 5.0.24 encompasses essential fixes and optimizations:
- Refactoring of Autolykos-related code for enhanced efficiency.
- Resolved problems concerning API crashes and transaction mempool management.
- Improved support for the forthcoming Ergoscript modifications after 6.0 activation.
Bitcoin Cash (BCH) v28.0.0
Bitcoin Cash Node v28.0.0 has been unveiled as a precursor to the network upgrade slated for May 15, 2025. Major highlights include:
- Launch of CHIP-2021-05 for virtual machine constraints and CHIP-2024-07 for high-precision calculations.
- Upgraded p2p protocol featuring improved timestamp management and port mapping capabilities.
- Enhanced Script VM functionalities, incorporating support for 80,000-bit integers.
Important: 32-bit architecture support has been withdrawn due to rising resource requirements.
Pyrin (PYI) Delisting
We regret to inform you of the removal of Pyrin (PYI) from the 2Miners pool. Effective December 20, 2024, at 07:00 UTC, PYI PPLNS and PYI SOLO operations will be terminated. This choice was made after the developers abandoned the initiative, erasing all assets and leaving the community without assistance. We recommend PYI miners to utilize 2CryptoCalc to discover alternative lucrative coins for mining.
Nervos (CKB) Pool API Update
Nervos CKB miners can now access enhanced pool functionalities! We have updated the API and statistics pages, which now provide in-depth hashrate and share statistics. Additionally, you can modify the payout threshold directly within the CKB pool. If the updates do not show, refresh your browser cache using Shift+Ctrl+R (or Shift+Command+R on macOS).
Bitcoin and Toncoin Disbursements for Various Cryptocurrencies
Exciting news for Bitcoin Gold (BTG) miners! Bitcoin and Toncoin disbursements are now accessible. All you need to do is input your BTC or TON wallet address within your mining software, and the pool will manage the remaining steps. Please be aware that disbursements could take up to 3 days due to BTG deposit regulations on cryptocurrency exchanges.

Decreases in Block Rewards
In December, significant block reward reductions occurred for these cryptocurrencies:
- Horizen (ZEN): Block reward halved from 3.75 ZEN to 1.875 ZEN.
- Kaspa (KAS): Block reward lowered from 77.78 KAS to 73.41 KAS.
