Frequently, when I engage with regular Bitcoin enthusiasts — or plebs, if you prefer — they convey to me their internal conflict between maintaining their “fiat job” and becoming further immersed in the Bitcoin realm on a professional basis.
I generally suggest that they can initiate this transition by integrating Bitcoin into their existing career, although I haven’t had a solid example of someone doing this that I could refer them to — until today.
When it’s time for the clients of osteopath Rob Shaw, situated in Essex, UK (just on the outskirts of London), to settle their payments, he offers them the choice to pay with British pounds or bitcoin using a Musqet PoS device.
First Bitcoin payment accepted with @Musqet_Bitcoin POS terminal.
This device lowers traditional payment costs and also facilitates Bitcoin transactions.

(It’s worth mentioning that he doesn’t delve into a tutorial on Bitcoin’s foundational technology or the tenets of Austrian economics during this process.)
Rob indicated that now and then a client will appear taken aback when given the option to pay with bitcoin, but the majority simply choose between the two methods and continue with their transactions.
His initiatives have resulted in two of his clients consistently opting to pay in bitcoin, and he also serves as a point of contact for those who have yet to start utilizing it.
In this capacity, Rob acts as a Bitcoin bridge.
(Interestingly enough, it was an organization known as Bridge 2 Bitcoin that familiarized Rob with Bitcoin as a payment solution for his enterprise.)
He’s discreetly introducing people to Bitcoin, providing them the opportunity to transition into the Bitcoin ecosystem in the process.
Some might label this as “orange-pilling” (a phrase I find somewhat off-putting as it seems overly forceful), but I would contend that this represents a more sophisticated method of introducing bitcoin to individuals. By offering it as an official payment option for professional services, it validates Bitcoin and encourages those unfamiliar with it to start recognizing it in a different light.
If professionals globally adopted this strategy, Bitcoin acceptance would notably speed up.
Therefore, rather than feeling compelled to abandon your current job to immerse yourself in the Bitcoin sector full-time, think about becoming a bridge to Bitcoin and integrating the Bitcoin sector into your existing work.
Emulate Rob, and be a Bitcoin bridge!
