ETHStaker/clr.fund Ethereum Staking CLR
ETHStaker and clr.fund are conducting a CLR funding round to support crucial projects in the Ethereum staking ecosystem. Specifically, these projects aim to enhance the accessibility, security, decentralization, and overall enjoyment of staking on Ethereum.
This funding round employs Constrained Liberal Radicalism, commonly known as Quadratic Funding (QF), to distribute a substantial pool of funds (exceeding $350k!) to pertinent projects. QF guarantees that the funds matched to a project depend not only on the dollar amount but also on the count of unique individuals contributing to a specific project. Consequently, you can create a considerable influence by participating with as little as one DAI!
Excitingly, this round is based on Arbitrum — a scalable optimism roll-up — which lowers costs for users as we transition towards an L2-centric Ethereum. Moreover, this round incorporates MACI to prevent collusion and vote buying — a vital technology on the path to bringing more sophisticated coordination mechanisms on-chain.
Contributions to the Ethereum Staking CLR remain open for another 5 days (until May 23rd). Don’t delay! Engage in Arbitrum, support your preferred projects with a bit of DAI, and make an impact today.
Data Availability Sampling RFP
Secure and effective Data Availability Sampling (DAS) is essential for Ethereum’s scalable end-game. Significant advancements are being made regarding step-wise scaling through proposals like EIP 4844, yet to unlock Ethereum’s complete potential, DAS needs further investigation and enhancement.
The EF has published a Data Availability Sampling Networking RFP with $1.5M in allocated funding to attract more teams and individuals into this thrilling R&D sector. There is a lot to accomplish here, including formal analysis, efficient design, attack mitigations, network load tests, and much more. If you are interested but unfamiliar with DAS, kindly review the RFP details and feel free to reach out with inquiries to rfp@ethereum.org.
Proposals are due July 1, 2022. Join us in crafting the future of Ethereum 🚀
