London, United Kingdom, October 22nd – The Ethereum Foundation is delighted to declare the Keynote Speaker for Ethereum’s yearly conference DΞVCON1, Nick Szabo. Nick’s keynote will center around the background of blockchain, smart contracts, and assets within the blockchain.
Nick is a computer scientist, legal expert, and cryptologist recognized for his studies on digital agreements and virtual currency. The term and idea of “smart contracts” were conceived by Szabo with the purpose of integrating contract law into programming protocols online.
Recently, Szabo distinguished the implementation of smart contracts on Ethereum compared to the Bitcoin blockchain, “If you desire to have a versatile general-purpose programming setting like programmers have been accustomed to since at least the 1950s, then you’re going to wish to utilize Ethereum because it possesses a Turing complete language and expansive state. DΞVCON1 is scheduled to take place from November 9th-13th at Gibson Hall in London, UK. It will showcase five days of technical presentations and events focusing on research and core protocols, decentralized application (dApp) development, as well as industry and societal impacts.
