The slalom activity evaluated the contestants\u2019 nimbleness, while the \u2018follow the leader\u2019 exercise enabled them to experience the racetrack\u2019s straights and turns by tracking the racing line.<\/p>\n<p>The TGRA was embraced with enthusiasm by newcomers, who made up the majority of attendees:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI engage in go-karting, so I wished to try maneuvering a car <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u2014<\/span> to discover <em>kung anong pinagkaiba<\/em>. It\u2019s nearly identical, yet also distinct because the vehicle is larger. For me, I feel like <em>mas masaya ito<\/em>,\u201d expressed Karis Alexandra Santos.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEver since <em>bata pa ako mahilig ako sa kotse and manood ng<\/em> races. It surpassed my expectations. <em>Akala ko yung<\/em> initial few tasks <em>lang gagawin namin <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u2014<\/span> yung<\/em> avoiding the cones and braking. <em>Yun pala<\/em> we also get to navigate the track several times and at a considerable speed,\u201d shared Miguel Corrales.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>Pangarap ko makapag-<\/em>drive <em>sa<\/em> speedway, <em>sa<\/em> track <span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u2014<\/span> <em>yung ma-<\/em>experience <em>yung ganitong<\/em> driving atmosphere at <em>ma<\/em>-enhance <em>yung<\/em> skills <em>ko<\/em>, so <em>in<\/em>-encourage <em>ako ng mga anak ko mag-<\/em>enroll [sa TGRA]\u201d said Javi Rios.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs a female in motorsports, I\u2019m thrilled to promote diversity and dismantle barriers in a historically male-centric sport. A number of alumni from this program have successfully transitioned into professional racing, some even competing in the TGR Philippine Cup, which is TMP\u2019s leading racing series.<\/p>\n<p>Race aficionados can still partake in the excitement during Race Weekend 1 of the TGR Philippine Cup, set to take place this Saturday, March 22, 2025, at the Clark International Speedway.
