As reported by the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), instances of text hijacking in the Philippines are alarmingly on the rise.<\/p>\n

\u201cRecently, there has been an uptick in the instances of text hijacking,\u201d stated DICT Assistant Secretary for Legal Affairs Renato A. Paraiso in a conversation with BusinessWorld.<\/p>\n

Mr. Paraiso cautioned the public that maintaining good cybersecurity practices and being vigilant with hyperlinks can assist individuals in steering clear of falling prey to these cyber offenses.<\/p>\n
