Josh and Mario, the EPF coordinators, are thrilled to unveil the establishment of the EPF study group (EPFsg): a 10-week educational series designed to serve as a precursor to the <!-- --><a class=\"chakra-link css-ug8vf0\" href=\"https:\/\/blog.ethereum.org\/2023\/05\/10\/ethereum-protocol-fellowship-third-recap\">Ethereum Protocol Fellowship<!-- --><\/a> (the fifth cohort is on the horizon \ud83d\udd1c). EPFsg is crafted to mentor and cultivate the next generation of Ethereum core developers, providing an in-depth comprehension of Ethereum&#8217;s intrinsic mechanics.<!-- --><\/p>\n<p><!-- --><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"chakra-heading css-145upk7\" id=\"bridging-the-gap\">Bridging the Gap<!-- --><\/h3>\n<p><!-- --><\/p>\n<p class=\"chakra-text css-gi02ar\">Grasping the Ethereum protocol is a multifaceted yet vital endeavor. The study group aspires to bridge this chasm by presenting a syllabus concentrated on every facet of the Ethereum stack &amp; roadmap.<!-- --><\/p>\n<p><!-- --><\/p>\n<h2 class=\"chakra-heading css-1w54o5f\" id=\"ethereum-protocol-studies-program-overview\">Ethereum Protocol Studies Program Overview<!-- --><\/h2>\n<p><!-- --><br \/>\n<!-- --><\/p>\n<h3 class=\"chakra-heading css-145upk7\" id=\"program-details\">Program Details<!-- --><\/h3>\n<p><!-- --><\/p>\n<p class=\"chakra-text css-gi02ar\">The EPF study group operates as a live webinar-style program, comprising two stages. The first stage will consist of one 90-minute session per week and will emphasize a general overview of Ethereum&#8217;s foundational architecture. In the subsequent stage, participants will select between the research or development tracks (or both).
