\nAccording to Blick Rothenberg, a leading audit, tax, and advisory firm, it\u2019s high time Chancellor Rachel Reeves shared the plans for the \u00a32 billion set aside for the UK\u2019s AI Opportunities Action Plan. \u201cResearch from Microsoft shows that AI could bring a whopping \u00a3550 billion opportunity for the UK in the next decade,\u201d said Evelina Panchal, a director at the firm. \u201cTo back our tech sector, Rachel Reeves should outline how the \u00a32 billion will be utilized.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWe still face major hurdles like infrastructure gaps, skills shortages, and slow business adoption,\u201d she warned. \u201cReeves must provide clear timelines and implementation strategies.\u201d<\/p>\n

Panchal also encouraged the Chancellor to avoid any changes in the Budget that might make the UK less attractive for digital entrepreneurs.<\/p>\n

She highlighted that share-based incentive schemes, like Enterprise Management Incentives (EMIs) \u2014 crucial in the tech and AI sectors \u2014 should remain untouchable to draw in specialists in this fiercely competitive global market.<\/p>\n

\u201cRachel Reeves should steer clear of any adjustments to Capital Gains Tax, exit taxes, or wealth taxes,\u201d she emphasized. \u201cDoing so could dampen the entrepreneurial spirit in tech, leading to adverse effects on innovation and economic growth.\u201d<\/p>\n
