I just wrapped up my third trip to El Salvador in a year, and wow, what a difference! The country is truly changing \u2014 not just on the surface, but deep down in how folks are living, thinking, and dreaming about their future. A pivotal moment for me was at the end of the week during a private dinner with President Nayib Bukele, and I couldn\u2019t feel luckier to have been part of it.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve been following his journey for a while now. I\u2019ve even interviewed nine Salvadorans and expats on my podcast, along with merchants, builders, grassroots organizers, and everyday heroes. Just last year, I tweeted my wish to meet him one day!<\/p>\n
