It further correlates with the increase in staking participation and Ethereum\u2019s role as the foundational settlement layer for DeFi, tokenization, and layer-2 networks.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Ethereum\/Bitcoin fund holdings ratio further exemplifies the structural transformation in institutional allocation. A year ago, ETH fund holdings were about three times more substantial than Bitcoin fund holdings. Currently, the ratio is reportedly close to five. The CryptoQuant examination discovered that this is not merely a transient rotation but a lasting shift fueled by distinct narratives: Bitcoin as a digital monetary asset, and Ethereum as a <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/bitcoinist.com\/ethereum-treasuries-slowing-down\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener \"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">yield-generating network infrastructure<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The examination asserted that a significant implication is that institutions now regard Ethereum as a primary holding instead of a secondary allocation. Conversely, Bitcoin continues to maintain its position as the predominant macro asset, although with a more seasoned and slower-growing ownership base. The persistence of this divergence in <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/bitcoinist.com\/ethereum-to-outperform-bitcoin\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener \"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">the ETH\/BTC ratio<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> is anticipated to depend on ETF lows, on-chain activity dynamics, and broader liquidity conditions across global markets.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2>ETH Also Exceeds BTC In This Parameter<\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Crypto research platform <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/CryptoRank_io\/status\/1983502321989361943\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">CryptoRank disclosed<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> that Ethereum has outstripped Bitcoin in <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/bitcoinist.com\/retail-investor-17-billion-to-bitcoin-treasury-hype\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener \"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">digital asset treasuries (DATs)<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> by total supply.
