Altcoins typically endure the harshest impacts during these monumental market corrections, as was evident over the weekend with XRP (XRP<\/a>) dropping at least 18%, Solana (SOL<\/a>) 22%, Dogecoin (DOGE<\/a>) 28%, Cardano (ADA<\/a>) 25% and Chainlink (LINK<\/a>) 26% in merely a day.<\/p>\n

After the March 2020 flash decline, \u201cwe experienced a significant altseason where altcoins surged 25x to 100x,\u201d stated<\/a> analyst Ash Crypto, adding, \u201cI believe it will transpire again.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, analyst \u201cMerlijn The Trader\u201d recognized<\/a> a configuration for \u201caltseason 3.0\u201d with a monthly bullish MACD crossover on the BTC\/altcoins chart, mirroring the same trend observed in 2017 and 2021.<\/p>\n

Total crypto cap dips back below $4T<\/h2>\n

The aggregate crypto market capitalization retreated back below the significant $4 trillion threshold on Tuesday, despite the optimistic<\/a> sentiment surrounding the rebound and a potential altseason<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Bitcoin (BTC<\/a>) is leading declines<\/a> with a 1.4% drop on the day as it fell below $113,500 on Tuesday morning. This occurs simultaneously as several altcoins reported daily gains.<\/p>\n

Moreover, Bitcoin dominance, another crucial metric of altcoin performance, is forming its first red weekly candle in five weeks as it declined below 59% on Tuesday, according<\/a> to TradingView.<\/p>\n
