The Communication Workers Union (CWU) criticized the decision, claiming TikTok is \u201cprioritizing corporate profit over the welfare of employees and the public.\u201d<\/p>\n
John Chadfield, CWU National Officer for Technology, remarked: \u201cTikTok employees have long expressed concern regarding the real-life repercussions of downsizing human moderation teams in favor of rapidly conceived, underdeveloped AI substitutes.\u201d<\/p>\n
