In a video released earlier this week titled \u201cSHIBA INU \u2014 HOW HIGH WILL PRICE BE IN 2025?!! MY GENUINE THOUGHTS!,\u201d the crypto analyst behind the LuckSide Crypto channel asserted that Shiba Inu\u2019s potential for the remainder of 2025 is significantly contingent on whether retail investors finally re-enter the crypto market in substantial numbers.<\/p>\n

\u201cRetail has not yet arrived,\u201d he stated<\/a>, adding that the percentage of individuals involved in crypto \u201cremains very much static compared to the last market cycle,\u201d which he estimated at \u201c5 to 6% of the global population.\u201d In his opinion, without a new influx of retail interest, Shiba Inu (SHIB) may increase but is improbable to surpass its long-term range; with a retail wave, he believes the token could \u201celiminate a zero\u201d and achieve a new historical peak.<\/p>\n

LuckSide placed SHIB\u2019s performance in the context of a broader meme-asset cycle. He claimed that the premier tier of memes has been diluted as fresh entrants and brands siphoned liquidity from established ones: \u201cWhen we examine Dogecoin, we\u2019ve had Shiba Inu draw some of that market cap from Doge\u2026 Pepe has extracted some market cap from SHIB\u2026 and as each of these has emerged in the market and performed well\u2026 it\u2019s just drained\u2026 some of the vitality from these assets.\u201d He underscored that this phenomenon does not imply \u201cSHIB is finished,\u201d merely that the ceiling has diminished until new participants arrive.<\/p>\n

Macro challenges overshadowed his account of the last 18 months. What Potential Does Shiba Inu Hold for 2025?<\/h2>\n

Regarding SHIB-specific fundamentals, LuckSide pointed to what he perceives as positive on-chain activity: \u201cWe\u2019ve observed whale accumulation apart from the last week or so,\u201d and \u201csignificant supply withdrawal from exchanges.\u201d He also reiterated a long-held perspective about price stability during declines: \u201cShiba Inu has not eliminated a zero. While many claimed it would, I asserted\u2026 that Shiba Inu would never add back a zero.\u201d Those indicators, he claimed, have \u201cprimed the environment for essentially a substantial Shiba Inu boom\u201d if and when retail returns.<\/p>\n

His 2025 outlook divides into two scenarios. If retail continues to stagnate, he anticipates SHIB will remain constrained within its larger trend, even if reflexive rallies take place: \u201cLet\u2019s say we reach here around September\u2026 that\u2019s\u2026 rather disappointing in the larger context,\u201d he stated, arguing that such a movement would still leave the token trapped within a range.<\/p>\n

If retail engagement is \u201cactually stimulated and you observe the masses flow into the market\u2026 which\u2026 is when the meme-coin share of market cap truly tends to escalate,\u201d he believes SHIB could \u201celiminate a zero, progressing past $0.0001 for the first time ever.\u201d. In his opinion, \u201cFOMO is an incredibly strong influence. Supply shock<\/a> is a remarkable phenomenon to observe in the market.\u201d<\/p>\n

Regarding timing, LuckSide perceives a narrowing opportunity in late 2025 into early 2026 for a revived meme-coin phase. \u201cWhether that\u2019s still here in 2025, or early 2026, I think our window is genuinely closing for when the market will actually take off and you\u2019ll witness this significant meme-coin surge once more,\u201d he remarked. Until that moment, he advised patience and a focus on on-chain support: \u201cWe just need to\u2026 recognize that we need fundamentals to stay robust, and eventually, matters will resolve themselves.\u201d<\/p>\n

The crux of his \u201chonest\u201d evaluation is conditional rather than numeric. In the absence of a new retail cohort<\/a>, SHIB\u2019s potential in 2025 may be marginal. With a definitive retail comeback\u2014evidenced by \u201cindividuals downloading exchange applications and genuinely injecting capital into the space\u201d\u2014he argues the token could finally remove a zero and establish new peaks. As he expressed, \u201cRetail will not indefinitely delay in reaching the markets\u2026 and when it does\u2026 we possess the potential for SHIB to attain some remarkably high levels.\u201d<\/p>\n
