The Information Security Officers Group (ISOG) commenced July with a notable achievement, renewing its alliance with the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) and inaugurating its 2025 leadership during a distinctive event held at the BSP premises in Intramuros, Manila.<\/span><\/p>\n

This gathering symbolized the ongoing partnership between ISOG and BSP, enhancing their mutual dedication to improving the nation’s cybersecurity stance. Key moments included the official oath-taking of ISOG\u2019s Board of Trustees, Officers, and Committee Chairs, conducted by BSP Deputy Governor Atty. Elmore O. Capule.<\/span><\/p>\n

In his introductory comments, ISOG President Chito Jacinto highlighted the essential nature of collaboration and trust in cybersecurity, recognizing the commitment of ISOG members and volunteers in promoting the organization\u2019s mission of excellence and resilience in the digital domain.<\/span><\/p>\n

BSP Deputy Governor Chuchi Fonacier praised ISOG\u2019s persistent initiatives in bridging the public and private sectors, emphasizing the significance of strategic alliances in addressing emerging cyber threats.<\/span><\/p>\n

The ceremony welcomed ISOG\u2019s founding members, officers, committee leaders, secretariat, and BSP representatives, underscoring the strength of their collective vision.<\/span><\/p>\n

Concluding the event, ISOG Chairman Emeritus Joey Regala reminisced about the organization\u2019s 11-year journey\u2014from a modest group of chief information security officers to a national frontrunner in cybersecurity advocacy. He expressed his gratitude to BSP for its unyielding support and urged ISOG\u2019s new leaders to stay dedicated to their mission.<\/span><\/p>\n
