ETC Mining Halted on Some iPollo ASICs – Firmware Released

Notice to Ethereum Classic (ETC) ASIC miners!

A number of iPollo devices — including iPollo V2 / V2x / V2h — ceased mining ETC following block #23,100,000 due to complications related to DAG Epoch 385.

We’ve encountered this issue previously — it pertains to the size of the DAG file expanding beyond the capacity of various mining hardware. This has been thoroughly addressed in our earlier Ethereum articles, such as:

When Will My Graphics Card Cease Mining ETH?

Luckily, iPollo has recognized the issue and has put out a firmware update to remedy it. If your device has halted ETC mining, please ensure to update the firmware promptly:

Post-update, your device should return to standard ETC mining procedures.

That concludes September 2025. Stay tuned on X (Twitter) and Telegram for additional updates, notifications, and assistance. Happy mining!
