We are delighted to announce the launch of Zephyr Protocol v2.3.0, which introduces a variety of technical advancements and performance upgrades to the network.

Key Features:

  • A new Zephyr CMake package streamlines setup and diminishes dependency on environment variables.
  • An updated Devicetree API utilizing hierarchical macros allows for pristine and organized hardware access in code.
  • Revamped kernel timeout API sets the stage for forthcoming support of 64-bit and absolute timeouts.
  • A newly introduced k_heap/sys_heap allocator provides substantial performance improvements over earlier memory pools.
  • Integration with the TF-M (Trusted Firmware-M) PSA-compliant framework bolsters the security architecture.
  • Bluetooth LE Host now accommodates Advertising Extensions for enhanced wireless capabilities.
  • The CMSIS-DSP library is now included and integrated for real-time signal processing operations.

This update represents a significant stride towards stability and performance for both Zephyr developers and miners.

Zephyr Protocol Network Incident – June 15

On June 15, 2025, the Zephyr Protocol Network faced a considerable interruption. The blockchain became unsynchronized, resulting in a complete halt in mining activities.

Immediately, the Zephyr Protocol development team and our pool engineers were notified and commenced efforts to find a solution. This incident underscored the necessity of a resilient blockchain infrastructure, and we will persist in monitoring for any subsequent issues. We appreciate your understanding during this event.
