We’re excited to reveal that internship submissions are now available for the inaugural Ethereum Season of Internships!
The Ethereum Season of Internships comprises a series of paid, fully-remote summer internships provided throughout the Ethereum ecosystem. This initiative aims to create more avenues for the upcoming generation of contributors to engage with Ethereum projects and utilize their talents – whether in development, research, design, marketing, operations, or beyond. Our long-term objective is to further enhance Ethereum as a welcoming environment for emerging talents.
In recent weeks, 18 teams from the ecosystem have developed over 30 internship positions. Every opportunity is paid, remote-friendly, and crafted to deliver practical experience and mentorship. Whether you’re a developer, researcher, designer, or community organizer, this is your chance to apply!
Why Apply?
The Ethereum ecosystem is expanding — and so is the demand for motivated contributors eager to build publicly and support impactful projects. If you’ve been seeking a means to become an active member, this is your opportunity.
As an intern, you will:
- Collaborate with hosting teams on genuine Ethereum projects
- Work intimately with seasoned mentors
- Contribute to codebases, research, or ecosystem initiatives
- Receive compensation for your time (stipends differ by team)
- Forge enduring connections across the Ethereum ecosystem
Note: These internships are hosted and overseen by the individual host teams, not by the Ethereum Foundation.
How to Apply
Internship applications will be accepted until June 29. Here’s how to initiate the process:
- Explore available internships
Each listing encompasses information on the project, requirements, qualifications, and application procedures. - Select the projects that inspire you
Internships cover various fields — from development and ZK research to community engagement, education, and legal. You are welcome to apply for multiple positions. - Adhere to the application guidelines in each posting
Each hosting team controls their own selection process. You may need to submit a form, email your CV or portfolio, contribute to their repository, or undertake a task. Pay close attention to the instructions. - (Optional but advisable) Begin interacting with projects you find intriguing
Early involvement aids in understanding the project’s aims and provides the team with an opportunity to witness your initiative in practice.

- 🐞 Correct bugs or propose enhancements
- 👾 Open issues or submit pull requests
- 📖 Contribute to or enrich documentation
- 🤝 Join community forums (like Discord), pose questions, and engage in discussions
This is an excellent way to distinguish yourself and demonstrate your dedication prior to the internship commencing.
