As we commemorate Mother’s Day Month, a time to celebrate the women who nurture, guide, and motivate, it’s only appropriate to highlight a leader whose vision and strength embody the very empathy, tenacity, and bravery of motherhood itself. Patricia Poco-Palacios, President and CEO of Global Dominion Financing, Inc., serves as a compelling example of intentional leadership fueled by passion and resolve.
During the recently concluded 2025 Annual Stockholders’ Meeting, Patricia presented a compelling report. She underscored not only the company’s strong financial performance, but also the principles and leadership that made it attainable.
“Emerging from a tough reorganization, our team moved ahead and achieved high double-digit growth right from the start,” she articulated. “This momentum never diminished.”
Global Dominion wrapped up 2024 with a 57% surge in loan disbursements, elevating its total loan portfolio from P7.7 billion in 2023 to P11.3 billion in 2024. The clientele expanded by over 10,000, catering to a total of 46,028 Filipino families and entrepreneurs. These outcomes indicate that the company is not only back on course but also at the forefront of the financing sector.
Under Patricia’s guidance and that of its board, Global Dominion significantly broadened its reach. Fifty new branches were established in 2024, bringing the total to over 140 locations nationwide. This made its offerings more attainable to Filipinos across the archipelago.
In 2024, Global Dominion witnessed substantial internal growth, onboarding 1,400 new staff and expanding its workforce to over 2,100. Concurrently, the company exhibited operational strength and astute risk management, with net income after tax increasing by 34.5%, from P518 million to P697 million.
Beyond financial metrics, Patricia emphasized a more profound type of impact—leadership development. Ten former talents from Global Dominion now hold positions as Presidents and Vice Presidents in associated financial institutions. This is a clear indication of the company’s commitment to fostering future leaders.
“These are the true accolades,” Patricia confirmed. “We not only yield results; we cultivate individuals who can spearhead change.”
She also praised the company’s officers for their ongoing efforts to reinforce Global Dominion’s purpose-driven legacy.
Looking toward the future, Patricia expressed both hope and determination.
