Hello Ethereum! Here’s the most recent update from the ethereum.org team:
Assist us in reaching 30 languages!
In the past 6 months, the worldwide Ethereum community has translated Ethereum.org into 23 languages. At present, traffic to non-English pages comprises over 20% of all traffic.
In the upcoming 2 months, we aim to expand the total number of supported languages to over 30. If you are fluent in a language that is not currently supported on ethereum.org, we would greatly appreciate your assistance!
We are particularly interested in native speakers of Vietnamese, Thai, Danish, Norwegian, Hungarian, Finnish, or Ukrainian.
Even if your language is already represented, we would love your help in updating localizations to the latest version of the website!

Ethereum.org on ENS & IPFS
The website is now accessible on IPFS and can be reached via ENS at ethereum.eth. Here’s further details from the ENS team on how to access it.
Our heartfelt gratitude goes to the IPFS team (especially Chris Waring) who developed a VuePress plugin for IPFS to facilitate this implementation as smoothly as possible. Additional thanks go to Brantly Millegan of the ENS team and Alex Van de Sande for their contributions to this project.
Enhanced search functionality
A genuinely community-driven enhancement, we received input from various users that the site search for ethereum.org (which only yielded results based on page title or header matches) hindered the ability to find resources on specific topics, even when content was available on the site.
We have just deployed a new search feature utilizing Algolia, which indexes all HTML on our pages and returns results based on fuzzy matching in addition to exact and partial matching. This should significantly enhance the discoverability of all our site’s guides, tools, and resources.
Celebrating our 1-year anniversary 🙂
A year ago, we unveiled the new Ethereum.org.
Over the past 12 months, we’ve been amazed by the Ethereum community’s support. More than 170 individuals have contributed to the website, and over 350 volunteers have assisted in translating the site into their native tongues.
Thank you for your support, feedback, and most importantly, for being a part of the Ethereum community.
What lies ahead?
Content will be a primary focus for our team in the forthcoming months, encompassing revisions of existing pages and the introduction of new pages:
- Introduction to EIPs (live)
- Ethereum Foundation (live)
- ETH 2.0 (in progress)
- Ethereum Nodes (in progress)
- Ethereum Gas
- DeFi
- Ethereum whitepaper
- Stablecoins
- Ethereum news
- …and additional content!
We are nearly done with a complete audit of all the Developers content on the site, thanks to the support of some fantastic Ethereum community members. This is expected to result in content removal and addition, re-structuring pages, and re-writing some existing material.
We’re also progressing with the design upgrade rollout and are thrilled to reveal new layouts of pages to the community in the upcoming weeks.
