As the Ethereum ecosystem keeps expanding and evolving at astonishing rates, we persist in our efforts to provide an extraordinary Devcon 6. Although the exact date for our reunion in Bogota remains uncertain, we aim to maintain community engagement along the Road to Devcon! To facilitate this, we are thrilled to present the Road to Devcon Quests!
What are Quests?
Road to Devcon Quests are periodic engagements designed for our community to consistently collaborate, contribute, and gain knowledge. With each Quest, you will have the chance to earn a POAP badge symbolizing your involvement — see how many you can collect!
Future Quests can be found on Devcon.org, and we encourage community-initiated Quests as well — if you have a concept for a community Quest, let us know in our RTD Discord server!
Launching Quests with EthStaker
To commence the first of these Quests, we’ve chosen to collaborate with the EthStaker Community for a series of enjoyable online events on the Road to Devcon.
The EthStaker community is well-acquainted with the Ethereum ecosystem. They have established themselves as one of the essential communities for Ethereum staking. The EthStaker group frequently organizes events aimed at educating the community with the intent of reducing the technical barriers to entry while also welcoming newcomers into the realms of solo and pooled staking.
The enthusiasm surrounding Devcon has motivated the EthStaker community to arrange two online events to vie for bragging rights, POAPs, and Devcon tickets. Each event outlined below is open to anyone wishing to join, and the more you engage, the higher your chances of winning a ticket to Devcon.
Painting Party: 29 May, 2021
POAP.art represents the latest endeavor by POAP, merging art and technology. POAP.art serves as an interactive digital canvas enabling artists of various skill levels to collaborate, creating original pieces of pixel art, and minting them as NFTs, thereby permanently embedding your art on the blockchain.
The POAP.art canvas will be accessible for anyone to use for one hour during a livestream on YouTube. While you add pixels, we’ll hear from Devcon and EthStaker community members providing light commentary while we observe the canvas filling up.
To participate, you simply need to be present during the Livestream and earn your ‘Painting Party Viewer’ POAP, which allows you access to the POAP.art Canvas. All attendees during the Painting Party Livestream will receive this POAP, and anyone who drops at least one pixel on the POAP.art canvas will get a ‘Painting Party Pixel Dropper’ POAP.
After the Painting Party, the EthStaker team will host a double feature POAP.fun Raffle. Round 1 is available for those who possess any previous Devcon POAPs or who are a Beacon Chain Genesis Depositor. Round 2 is open to those holding the Painting Party Viewer or Pixel Dropper POAP. Winners of the raffles will secure participant spots for the upcoming Devcon Trivia Game.

Devcon Trivia Game: 10 July, 2021
Trivia Games are a tradition within the EthStaker community and are an incredibly entertaining experience. Everyone is invited to join during the Livestream Play-Along hosted on the EthStaker website, while those who secured Trivia Game spots battle against one another in a live Trivia Game conducted using the Kahoot! platform. Participants are posed a series of questions covering general Ethereum knowledge, Devcon history, and everything beyond.
The participant with the highest scores will win tickets to Devcon and have bragging rights. Four unique POAPs are available for this event; the viewer, the Play-Along participant, participant, and the victor.
