A Heartfelt Acknowledgment to Anaïs Ofranc and the QualitaX Team

After numerous years in leadership positions with the Crosschain Interoperability WG, initially as part of EEA’s technical team and later as co-chair through her EEA member organization QualitaX, Anaïs Ofranc is resigning from her role as co-chair.

Throughout her tenure, in collaboration with co-chair Dr Weijia Zhang of Wanchain, Anaïs has guided the group in creating various specifications and associated documents, including the most recent first release version of the EEA DLT Interoperability Specification, along with implementation case studies and other reports and guidelines. She has also participated in assisting the group in reaching out to new members, participants, and others involved in Crosschain Interoperability within the ecosystem.

QualitaX has been expanding during this period, and she believes that she will no longer be capable of providing the necessary attention to the duties of co-chair that the role entails to fulfill its responsibilities toward the rest of the group.

Serving as co-chair has been a fulfilling journey of teamwork and innovation. I’m proud of what we’ve achieved collectively and appreciative of the chance to contribute to furthering blockchain interoperability. As I transition out, I extend my sincere gratitude to EEA and its members for their encouragement and await witnessing ongoing advancements in interoperability initiatives.

Anaïs Ofranc, CEO and founder of QualitaX

We’d like to express our gratitude to Anaïs for her contributions to EEA so far, particularly her efforts as a co-chair. The voluntary position of a group co-chair, carried out by several members, plays a vital role in how members achieve significant objectives at EEA. It creates avenues to learn or enhance various “soft” skills while engaging in leading-edge technical work, benefiting both the organizations and the individuals who undertake it. Concurrently, it is a greatly esteemed contribution to the overall ecosystem, and as EEA, we are very aware of the immense debt of gratitude we owe to everyone who has taken on this responsibility.

We are very pleased that Anaïs and QualitaX will maintain their involvement as members of the Crosschain Interoperability WG, and we appreciate Dr Zhang who will continue to chair, managing the role independently until a new co-chair is appointed.
