In anticipation of the upcoming Merge, the Merge Data Challenge is now active!
The Merge is the most intricate upgrade to Ethereum thus far and potentially the most challenging for any public blockchain network ever. With this complexity comes a significant amount of data to gather, visualize, tools to develop, and concepts to elucidate, aiding researchers, developers, and community members to gain a deeper insight into the operations of the post-Merge network.
To commence data exploration in this new era, the EF is conducting an open contest from now until October 31st, 2022. Start early if you wish to analyze pre and post Merge data!

The Merge is near, upgrade your nodes 🖥️
Mainnet Merge client releases are available. Now is the moment to set up your nodes.
If you are a staker and have not previously operated an Execution Layer client, ensure you configure your system and allow enough time to sync with Mainnet (which might take several days!).
The Consensus Layer will transition to Bellatrix on September 6th, 2022, with the Merge happening sometime between September 10th and 20th, 2022.
