The Ethereum Foundation is excited to declare a joint grant initiative with Aztec, Polygon, Scroll, Taiko, and zkSync aimed at advancing Zero Knowledge public goods initiatives. Each supporter of the grant round has allocated 150K USD, resulting in a total grant pool of 900K USD.
The vastness and intricacy of the Layer 2 ecosystem have advanced to a stage where recognizing common needs and dependencies necessitates involvement from specialists across various stakeholders. Hence, the co-funders will not only deliver financial support but will also engage in the decision-making process regarding allocations.
In addition to providing more and better-informed funding, we anticipate that this strategy will promote increased modularity and the adoption of shared standards within the ZK L2 ecosystem. Submissions for proposals are now open and will conclude on Monday, March 18th, 2024.
