Today, we will disclose how to acquire your Devcon tickets. Furthermore, we are unveiling the programming tracks for Devcon SEA!
TL;DR:
We have two significant announcements for you today!

- Ticket types and timelines are available now
🎤 Programming Timeline & Tracks
Speaker applications will commence on July 9. You can explore the various programming tracks at this moment.
Devcon encompasses topics and themes that are pivotal in the Ethereum ecosystem at present, addressing hurdles, ongoing advancements, and fundamental Ethereum principles. The tracks will include presentations, workshops, panels, and more, tailored to both novice and expert participants.
- Core protocol: For over a decade, researchers and developers have focused on designing and enhancing Ethereum to be as decentralized, robust, and secure a protocol as possible. What are the latest research insights, EIPs expected for implementation, and recommendations for the roadmap?
- Layer 2: Ethereum is advancing into a dynamic rollup-centric ecosystem prepared to onboard billions. Since the introduction of blobs in March this year, what remains to be accomplished to scale Ethereum to billions?
- Developer Experience: Building on Ethereum is more convenient than ever; what are the most recent tools and best practices for developers? How can we enhance it further?
- Coordination: In what ways can we utilize Ethereum to enhance our coordination on the Internet?
- Cypherpunk & Privacy: What are the values that differentiate Ethereum, why are they significant for society, and how are we reinstating its Cypherpunk ideals?
- Applied Cryptography: Cryptography is fundamental to crypto, and techniques such as ZKP, MPC, FHE, among others, are developing rapidly — how can we employ these techniques to enable practical applications that were previously unachievable?
- Security: Our ecosystem has improved considerably in thwarting hacks and attacks, yet improvement is still possible. What are the latest security best practices, recommendations, and tools for making Ethereum applications even more secure?
- Real World Ethereum: Ethereum has attained a degree of maturity that enables us to construct tangible applications that can create a lasting positive impact — what kinds of applications can we develop using Ethereum, and what advice is there for building them?
- Usability: Widespread adoption will not occur without commendable UX. In what ways are we enhancing the UX of Ethereum, L2s, and applications?
- Cryptoeconomics: Cryptoeconomics is an emerging field that enables the creation of robust decentralized networks with strong incentives for participants in complex environments. What are the latest research findings and best practices in this domain?

🎟️ Ticket Timeline & Types
This year, we’re aiming to make Devcon more accessible than ever before.
Tickets for Devcon 7 will be obtainable through three unique methods:
- Raffle-Auction Ticket Wave (June 18 – July 9)
$299 - Discounts – Self-claimed & Application-based (Opening July 9)
Price varies - General Admission Sale Waves (Starting July 16)
$599
For more insights on each of the aforementioned, read below.
Raffle-Auction Ticket Wave
Just like we did for Devcon VI, we’ll again conduct an on-chain Raffle-Auction as our initial ticket wave. We want to continue showcasing Ethereum’s potential to facilitate verifiably fair and transparent Raffles & Auctions, while broadening the strategies we employ to allocate tickets to the many thousands desiring to attend each year.
204 tickets will be made available in this year’s Raffle-Auction. The top 20 bids will prevail in the Auction. Those who place the Minimum Bid or do not succeed in winning the auction will enter the raffle for a chance to win one of 184 Devcon tickets being distributed. Thus, we aim for the distribution outcome to be around 10% efficient and 90% fair.
A huge thank you to the Fairy & Archblock teams for dedicating their efforts to the success of this year’s edition.
Participation Guidelines
Network — Arbitrum
Minimum Bid — 0.08 ETH (equivalent to the $299 cost of a discounted Builder Ticket at the time of publication).
All funds raised from the Auction above the reserve price will be utilized to assist individuals in attending Devcon through funding programs such as the EF Next Billion Scholars program and other Devcon initiatives. If you bid above the reserve price but do not succeed in the auction, you will automatically be directed into theRaffle for a pass. If you succeed in the Raffle, you will have the ability to withdraw all funds exceeding the Reserve price. If you do not succeed in either the Raffle or the Auction, you will be able to withdraw all of your funds. Similar to the previous occasion, one fortunate winner will obtain a complimentary Golden Ticket to Devcon & will be able to withdraw all of their funds.
Sybil-Resistance
This year, we are utilizing Gitcoin Passport to introduce a reliable sybil-resistance mechanism to the Raffle-Auction. You will need to sign into your Passport OR create one & validate your stamps to engage in this year’s Raffle-Auction ticket phase.
